Marseille want to boost their offensive sector and have been looking for a classic striker since the beginning of the transfer window. Porto FC has received a first formal offer of 15 million euros to let the striker go, but this amount is very far from the buying clause of Vincent Aboubakarwho scored the winning goal of Cameroon’s victory AFCON 2017, which is set at 50 million euros.

Author of a thundering start of the season, Vincent Aboubakar (25 years) has seen his side climb in the transfer market. A few days after the end of the transfer market, several clubs are seaking the services of the Cameroonian striker, who is tied to FC Porto until 2018.

Last weekend, after the disappointment of their club against AS Monaco (6-1), the leaders of Marseille accelerated the negotiations in order to find a true striking option to strengthen their offensive line. At the top of their list is the name of the native of Garoua.

The FC Porto, although doesn’t want to release Vincent Aboubakar, may be tempted if the amount to be deposited on the table is gotten. His release clause amounts to € 50 million.
