Mamfe Killings, Victims were identified as, Chief Sergent Tih Julius, Master Mvoula Mvoula, Corporal DobekreoYimda & Mami Rapheal Noutchomwo, who were killed in Agborkem, Eyumojock subdivision in the South West region. One other gendarme was kidnapped with weapons seized.
According to official sources, the gendarmes’ dead which occurred around 2am, has been attributed to suspected separatists.
Speaking with anonymity, a government source who did not specify the exact circumstances which led to the death of the four military men, said; “They (the separatists) murdered our officers. If it this is not terrorism, then what is it? “.
Last night killings, brings the number of security officers killed in English speaking regions to eight since the wake of the Anglophone crisis.

Observers hold that if nothing is done fast, the crisis situation might turn into a full arm uprising.
While the government is doing everything possible to bring sanity in the regions (night curfews, restriction of movements, security operations and searches in secessionist strongholds), separatists on the other hand, say they are poised on attaining the independence of Southern Cameroon (Ambazonia).
