Cameroon’s Former Prime Minister Head of Government, Philemon Yang has been appointed as the new Grand Chancellor of National Orders in replacement of Peter Mafany Musonge.
Philemon Yang was appointed by Presidential decree this Friday April 17.
He takes over from Peter Mafany Musonge, he too a former Prime Minister who occupied this position since 2007 and is the current President of the National Commission for the promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.
The new Grand Chancellor of National Orders, Philemon Yang is Cameroon’s longest serving Prime Minister. He occupied this position from 2009 to 2019.
