Atanga Nji Paul, the man who is known for denying the existence of an Anglophone problem on state media is still making news on social media. The minister of Special Duties, who is with the head of state in New York for the United Nations General Assembly was spotted wearing an interpretation headphone during Donald Trump’s speech yesterday September 19.
He has become the prey of social Media users who are still to understand how an anglophone elite can seek interpretation for a language he masters. Seeing president Paul Biya with the headset was not new to them but seeing Atanga Nji with one was a call of concern.
