Cabinet Reshuffle : President Biya appoints 17 New Ministers and Deligates

President Paul Biya has announced a new cabinet today in Yaounde the nation’s capital.  The powerful Minister at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o has been moved to the Ministry of Transport. Here is our understanding of the new government :

Defense: Joseph Beti ASSOMO, current governor of the Littoral region

Minister of Arts and Culture: Narcisse Mouelle Kombi

Foreign Affairs: Lejeune Mbella Mbella

State Control: Mrs. Mbah cha

Minister for Finance: Paul Elung Che, current director of HSPC (hydrocarbon prices Stabilization Fund)

Minister of Social Affairs: Nkendeck Pauline.

Post and Telecom: Minette Libom Li Likeng, current Director General of Cameroon Customs

Minister of Secondary Education: Jean Ernest Ngalle Bibehe

Minister of Mines: Ngoua Boubou Hernest

Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Planning: Louis Paul Motaze current SG / Prime Minister Office

Minister of Transport: Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o current Minister at the Presidency in charge of Defence

Minister of Sports: Pierre Ishmael Bidoung Mkpatt current Minister of Youth Civic Education

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development: Eyebe Henri Ayissi  (Minister at the Presidency of the Republic in charge of higher state control)

Minister of Public Works: Emmanuel Djoumessi Nganou,

Minister of Youth and Civic Education: MOUNOUNA FOUTSOU, current Secretary of State at the Minister of Secondary Education, in charge of Education
Secretary of State for Secondary Education: Bayaola Boniface, the current SG at the Ministry of Commence

Another decree appointed Seraphin Magloire Fouda, as Secretary-General at the Prime Minister Office. She was a Special Adviser to the president of the Republic on economic issues

Sacked
